A few things about me: I’m a mom, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, explorer, researcher, dreamer, gardener, cook, constant learner, observer, volunteer, and searcher.
I’ve been away from this blog for a while, but I used it when we traveled and lived in Europe when my kids were younger. I loved writing about our adventures, and it’s fun to look back on those memories!
Now, I’m an empty nester. Time flies, and I had ideas of writing about my thoughts on the climate crisis, which is a global concern that I believe connects us all. However, I took a different path and went back to school to get a master’s degree in counseling psychology. I’m now working as a grief counselor at a hospice. It’s been a difficult and incredibly rewarding experience. Through this experience, I’ve realized how important it is to connect with nature and find moments of peace and awe.
I’ll be hosting guided hikes into beautiful spaces while exploring breath work, meditation, grounding, art, foraging, and more. These activities will help us unwind and connect to what truly matters. We’ll fill our cups so we can be there for others and find strength to live our best lives amidst the chaos. I hope you’ll join me on this journey.
With hope and kindness,
Holly
